What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
1 Corinthians 6:19
The Holy Spirit has a ministry in your physical body as He does in your spirit and soul, and it’s important you learn about it so you can take advantage of it in your life. When you were born again, it wasn’t just your spirit that became one with Christ; your physical body also became a part of Him. In 1 Corinthians 6:15, the Bible says, “Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ?…”
It’s important to note that the Bible says “your bodies” and not “the body.” This clearly shows that the Apostle Paul was referring to our individual bodies. This means that Christ functions through your body. Our theme Scripture from 1 Corinthians 6:19 expresses a similar thought. When the Bible says that your physical body is the temple of the Holy Spirit and you’re not your own, it shows that He’s not in you by your sheer invitation; He owns you! You don’t belong to yourself or even to your earthly parents; you belong to God!
God purchased you with the precious blood of Jesus Christ, and now you have the responsibility to glorify Him in your body. 1 Corinthians 6:20 says, “For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.” You are the custodian or caretaker of your body for the Lord. You should therefore rule your body in the way that pleases Him. Let neither sin nor sickness reign in your body anymore. Neither yield your body as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin, but yield your body to the Lord (Romans 6:13).
“But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you” (Romans 8:11). The Holy Spirit is the One Who gives life to your body. Your body is not sustained by the blood flowing through your veins but by the power of the Holy Spirit in you. This means that with the Holy Spirit in you, no sickness or infirmity should have the power or ability to break your body. How do you take advantage of His presence? Act on His Word!
First, you have to recognize Him and give Him the liberty to function in your life. Christianity is not a religion; it is the living, pulsating life of God in the human body. It is divinity at work in humanity. Christianity is a real relationship between a real God and a human being, and that relationship transforms the individual into the image or representation of God (2 Corinthians 3:18). So, recognize His presence in you and give Him the pre-eminence in your life.
Secondly, activate His power through your words of faith. In the account in Matthew 14:24-33, when Peter stepped out in faith, he activated the power of God and walked on the water. But when fear attacked his heart, he began to sink.
Fear activates the power of darkness and failure, but faith always activates the power of God. Speak words of faith to your body at all times. As you do this consistently, you’ll find that the power of God will always be activated in your life, and the ministry of the Holy Ghost in your body will become your everyday experience.
If there’s anything in your body that’s not from God, insist that your body complies with the Word and does not accommodate satanic influences. Say, “No! I refuse to be sick! My body is the temple of the Holy Ghost. Therefore, I command every cell to comply with the Word of God; I reject this growth (pain, infection, or infirmity). Leave my body in the Name of Jesus Christ!”
Amen. Glory to God. I refuse to accommodate sickness or infirmities in my body. My body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. Thank you Pastor Sir.

I am blessed, this is an eye opener, I will never again accommodated anything which is not of Christ in my body.
